This isn't just a spur-of-the-moment decision. The plan was first revealed last month when NBCUniversal sealed a carriage deal with YouTube TV.
Now, you might be thinking, "Didn't NBCSN already exist?" You're right! But the original NBCSN was shuttered in 2021. This new iteration promises a packed schedule, including live NBA and WNBA games, Premier League soccer matches, Big Ten and Notre Dame Football, Olympic sports, and the popular Gold Zone, hosted by Scott Hanson. He emphasized the benefits for fans, distributors, league partners, and advertisers.
