It's a well-known fact that everywhere looks better with a bit of sun. Thanks to the mini heatwave we've been enjoying, many of us will have been out and about soaking up some rays with a smile on our face.

But brighter equals better isn't just for the outdoors, you can vibe up your home by adding a splash of colour. And this "smart and vibrant" rug from Dunelm promises to "transform" your favourite room.

The Hani Floral Washable Runner is just £35 at the homeware giant, and can "add a touch of personality" to your bedroom or hallway. The "stylish and practical" rug is made from a soft cotton blend and shoppers say it is "easy to wash".

It's on-trend yet classic "boho style" design with floral touches and bright accents mean this is ideal for spring and summer - so don't wait around!

The Hani Floral rug comes in at 230x60cm and is a sustainable choice for your home, thanks to its recycled polyester make-up, Liverpool ECHO reports.

To clean the runner, either wash on a 30 degree gentle cycle and air dry flat, or shake/vacuum to remove and loosen fibres, dirt, and debris.

Elsewhere, Next offers a large range of stylish runners, including this Fushsia Pink Washable Emporium Oriental Runner for £45 to £65 depending on the size you go for.

The retailer also stocks the Natural Kila Oriental Runner, which promises "maximum durability" and a "soft feel" for £65 to £95.

So far, it only has one review, but the shopper gave it five stars. They wrote: "Lovely stylish rug that looks lovely in my hallway. The quality is great and I am very pleased with my purchase."

But if it's the Hani Floral Washable Runner that you've got your eyes on, you're not alone. More than a dozen people have snapped it up in the last 48 hours.

One satisfied customer said: "Smart and vibrant. Lovely runner. Really great in my hallway. I love the colours. I haven’t washed it yet, hoping it lives up to the blurb and washes well."

A second happy shopper wrote: "Bought to eliminate my dog slipping in hallway and easy to wash. They look fab and are just right lovely colours make you smile."

However, this shopper knocked off two stars due to the colours being not as vibrant in real life, they said: "It’s a nice rug. Although the colours are not as bright as in the photo. Still happy."
